How many times can they be reanimated? How?

The glow time of a neon stick depends on several factors.

Glow time depends on

  • ambient temperature (At 0, it practically stops. At low temperatures, the sticks shine longer.),
  • chemical reagents.

Sticks can glow from 2 hours to 12.

The sticks are disposable, but their glow can be extended. As mentioned above, you need to lower the ambient temperature. At home, put in the freezer.

They are widely used as autonomous (up to 12 hours of luminescence) light sources for various emergency rescue, road, street works, in emergency situations, in tourism and speleology, scuba diving, for signaling, generally as various kinds of backup illuminators, in decorative lighting, for entertainment. Being completely autonomous, durable, fireproof and waterproof, suitable for long storage, sources can be used in a wide range of applications. They are produced, as a rule, in the form of plastic sticks or bracelets, which, when cracked, begin to glow with a pale light.

The color of the sources can have fluorescent shades of various colors, usually green, blue, orange.

Typically, household HISs provide illumination of about 100 lux immediately after activation, reducing power to 20-40 lux in 10-15 minutes.
