If you want to try your hand at crocheting, then you should take on a cute miniature little thing - a flower. A small detail can serve as an excellent decoration for clothes, bags and even shoes. Crocheted crocheted flowers can become a brooch or a hairpin, depending on which fastener to choose. With the help of such an element, it is possible to revive, for example, an automatic hair clip, in which the decorative trim has been lost. You can crochet a large number of different-sized flowers and make an interior decoration out of them - panels, napkins, decorative vases for dead wood.

Crocheted motif can be made in the shape of the same flower, and already from them it will turn out to knit a shawl or cardigan, hat or scarf. Performing such an element is simple. Over time, you will crochet more complex flowers and find pleasure in it.

How to learn to crochet flowers - patterns for beginners

To begin with, it is worth crocheting a flower according to the most simple scheme. Usually flowers are knitted from the middle. You can start them both with the traditional chain and with the amigurumi ring, which came to us from the Japanese art of knitting toys of the same name. This ring helps to make a very small hole in the middle of the flower. Sometimes a flower has “transparent” petals, that is, only their outline is crocheted. This is a schematic depiction of a floral ornament. In other embodiments, the petals are dense, similar to real ones. This realistic image is also easy to crochet.

Simple flower knitting pattern

Here is an example of how a dense flower of six petals is made.

Making the Amigurumi Ring:

  • we fold the thread with a round loop - a ring,
  • we introduce a hook into it and drag the working thread through the ring so that a small loop is formed from it, in which the hook should remain,
  • again, we hook the working thread through a large ringlet and knit an air loop,
  • then the ring is tied with crochets.

To get a flower with six petals, you need to connect the number of columns that is a multiple of six. For example, eighteen. Next, we start knitting arcs from air loops. The first arc consists of four air loops. We skip two columns of the previous row and knit the connecting column in the third, from where we start a new arc. On each arc we knit a petal. The beginning of each petal consists of a single crochet, then a double crochet and five double crochet. The end of the petal is a double crochet and a single crochet. Further, the flower can be continued in the same way. The length of the arcs will increase, but the number of petals will remain the same.

If you want to achieve greater realism, you can crochet a flower with arcs of different lengths. Then it will resemble a rose. If the petals are made with columns with two or three crochets, you get another flower - terry petunia.

A flower with a hollow center fits differently. For starters, a chain of 8 air loops is dialed. For the second row, three lifting air loops and two arc loops are performed. Next - a single crochet column, then again an arc of two loops and the same column. Just repeat the arc with columns 8 times and close the circle. The third row is the petals. We knit a connecting post, an air eyelet, three double crochet posts, an air eyelet and a connecting post. Perform 8 times until we go through the circle. For the lower row of petals, we again make arcs, each consisting of a connecting column and 4 air loops. On these arcs in the next row we form petals consisting of a connecting column, an air loop, a single crochet column, three double crochet columns, another double crochet, an air loop and a connecting column.

Crocheted flower with hollow petals is even easier to knit. A ring of 12 air loops is gathered and tied with 32 double crochets. Do not forget about the transition to the columns, consisting of three lifting air loops. Next, we collect 4 lifting loops, a column with 2 crochets, an arc of 5 air loops, we knit three crochet columns, retreating one column in the previous row. We knit to the end of the row and end it with a 2-crochet column. Next, on the arcs we execute the petals. To do this, you need to knit one lifting loop, a small arch of 2 air loops, a double crochet, 7 double crochets, one double crochet, two air loops, and a connecting column. With these petals you need to finish the row. Our flower is ready.

You can also use the technique of lush columns to crochet a flower. We collect the same ring of 12 air loops. Next, from the first loop, we knit one loop for lifting, a chain of 5 loops, from the next loop knit three unfinished columns with two crochets, so that 4 loops remain on the hook, which are then knitted together. Next, you need to knit 5 air loops, a single crochet and repeat until the end of the row. Finish the flower with a descent of 5 air loops. Close the row, break it and tighten the thread with a loop.

Crochet volumetric flowers - schemes

Crocheting voluminous flowers is not difficult. The execution scheme is about the same as the first flower we examined. You just need to arrange the petals in several floors. Then the lower layers will lift the upper ones above themselves, and the flower will gain volume.

You can also tie flowers in the form of a bell:

  • callas
  • bells
  • tuberose
  • petunias or lord.

The tubular elements are initially crocheted in the unfolded form, then folded into a “gramophone” and stitched or secured with connecting posts. To tie them tight, you need to knit only single crochet or half columns. The calla pestle is knitted separately, also crocheted. To do this, a small chain is knitted, locked into a ring, from which, without adding loops, several rows are knitted in height with columns without a crochet, so that the pestle is dense.

For leadlers and petunias it is not necessary to knit pestles and stamens: you can simply skip the strings, decorating each bead.

We crochet flowers for jewelry, clothes and hats

Crocheting flowers is good for decorating a scarf or hat, blouse or cardigan. Even if the product is knitted, factory, and not of your own knitting, then for him hand-made jewelry in the form of a flower or two or three buds may well make it original.

A knitted wallet or purse will look great if crowned with a crocheted flower. You can choose one of the proposed schemes to make flowers crochet in different colors.

Pansies

Not every flower is symmetrical. We have already learned how to crochet calla lilies with a single petal that looks like a sail. Now let's try to connect pansies: each flower of this plant has two large petals on top and three smaller ones on the bottom. Large petals of pansies may differ in color from small ones or may be the same tone with them. A variety of plant varieties allows you to show freedom in the choice of threads.

The middle of the flower is dense and always yellow. We start knitting with yellow threads. Let's make an amigurumi ring with five single crochet columns. We tighten the ring and make the lifting loop with a yellow thread. Change the color to the shade of the small petals, make another loop and knit 6 air loops in the form of an arc. We attach a connecting column to the next column of the center. Next, we knit the same column, an arc of 6 stitches and continue until the row closes. Next, you need to knit the petals. For small petals, each arc is tied with double crochet, for large - double crochet. You can change the color. Next, the large petals are tied with half columns or single crochet.

Lotus flower

You can crochet a beautiful lotus flower. The lotus has pointed petals. The leaves of the flower are round, large. For a hollow leaf, you need to dial a chain from the central ring. Without closing it in a circle, tie it along its entire length with half-columns. Next, we knit three air loops, we knit a crochet column through one half-column. The next column is already made with two crochets and we knit, skipping one half-column of the middle. Next, we knit according to the scheme. The edge of the sheet is tied with crochets.

Petals also need to start knitting from the center circle. A chain is made to the length of the petal. Next, you need to connect the columns in which you need to make the number of yarn over the scheme. After this, a series of single crochet knits. Next, the petal should be tied with half columns, as shown in the figure, changing the thread color to a lighter one.

How to crochet a rose

How to crochet a flower so that it captures the imagination? You need to choose the queen of flowers - a rose as a model. Some authors propose to use not only a hook, but also glue to tightly connect the various elements of the flower. For example, add sepals to rose petals. You can do without this, but simply crochet a flower head. Next, it’s nice to tie a green napkin, from which voluminous roses will “grow”.

Another way is to tie a flower that can stand in a vase. But for this we need rigid elements: a wire, a plastic or wooden bar or a thin straw for a cocktail - if only we could tie this item up. Pay attention to live roses: sometimes their stem is not green at all, but dark red. You can find such threads to crochet the selected stem base.

Where can I apply knitted flowers

Home-made flowers can be used as decor in a variety of areas:

  • to decorate hats and hats.
  • decorate sofa cushions,
  • add as elements of jewelry,
  • to make homemade bags,
  • use as bookmarks or napkin clips,
  • create wall panels
  • use when creating greeting cards or gift wraps,
  • collect bouquets to decorate the home interior.

To create flowers, you need to choose a thread that does not break up into individual fibers, it can be cotton, synthetics, silk, darn, wool or a blended thread.

Crochet technique involves the manufacture of flowers of various shapes and sizes. Voluminous flowers can be knitted from several tiers of different diameters. Of the semicircular petals located around the middle, you can knit simple flowers with five petals. From petals with sharp corners, daffodils are obtained, from elongated petals come daisies or lilies, and from narrow ones - carnations. Small cups are suitable for making lily of the valley or bell, and from wide petals orchids and poppies are obtained. From oval petals you can make tulips.

Flowers related by the type of quilling look beautiful, when in each row the number of loops is significantly increased and the petal is in the wave, if you tightly collect such petals from below, a real carnation will come out, it is easy to collect a rose from straight lace.

Scheme and method of knitting

It is better to start such a flower with the petals. They can be connected one at a time by completing circles from columns without a crochet. Those that will be closer to the middle of the rose should turn out smaller, on the outer petals it’s worth knitting a couple more rows so that the circles are larger. Then it will be more convenient to fold a rose from them. It is necessary to connect the petals, starting with smaller ones and ending with large ones in a chain, crocheting connecting posts. Next, we twist the chain into a roll, straighten the petals and get a finished rose. So that the flower does not fall apart, we pass along its lower part with a crochet, knitting again with the connecting posts the places that can go apart. Instead, you can use a gypsy needle and sew a roll from the bottom so that it holds well when folded.

You can separately crochet green sepals with a rose by applying the pattern of lotus petals. Roses in nature have five sepals, we will not break this harmony. The finished five-pointed starlet with pointed rays needs to be sewn to the rose from below. The stalk for the flower can be made of wire, pre-tied with half-strings of green thread. It remains to add leaflets, which can also be tied from the stem or tied separately and sewn.

It is better not to make leaves for the rose hollow, it should be a thick crochet from crochets. To imitate a natural rose leaf, you will have to connect a few more transition arcs from chains. When they knit for a “standing” rose, they should be reinforced with a thin copper wire.

Among the video sequences, there are lessons on how to knit flowers that can be put in a vase, and how to make a separate flower on a napkin or collect a whole bunch of amazing roses. It is worth stocking up with green threads, because you have to knit leaves for any flower. Petals can be white, yellow, red, pink, lilac, cream and other natural shades that the Queen of Flowers possesses. If you decide to create a fantasy rose, then such a flower can be blue, and blue, and deep purple, and even the color of a sea wave or turquoise. • 2 p. from st b / n, the number of columns should be 2 times more than VP.
  • 3 p. from petals - 4.5.6 pcs. Petal fits a combination of large and small art. For example, Art. b / n, 2-3 tbsp s / n, st. non-cash - This is the easiest petal.

Blue poppy flower, master - class!

Blue poppies are not exactly poppies, but their relatives are meconopsis. I got into the color scheme quite accurately, but I missed the leaves very much. They should not be so dissected. I did not dress up. For stamens this time, instead of decoy, I used powder with sequins, bought at a nail design store. It turned out not bad, but according to the idea, the stamens should be lighter than pollen. However, the impregnation of the PVA thread changed its color exactly to the shade that the powder has.

Lush flowers

For knitting, a hook with a diameter of 3.5 mm and yarn from bulk acrylic were used. It is shown in detail how to start knitting, literally from the first loop. 12 rings are knitted in a ring. Next, the thread changes to a different color. The ends of the threads will be hidden in knitting. Elongated loops should be the same size as the previously obtained column.

Having connected them among themselves, we receive a petal of the future flower. There are six petals in total. All of them are exactly the same, and the flower is neat and symmetrical. You can use threads of different colors and get a multi-colored bouquet.

Chic flowers

After working on any knitted items, there is usually leftover yarn. One way to use them is knitting flowers. Ready-made flowers of all kinds of colors can be connected to each other, getting an interesting and warm blanket.

By winding a thread on your finger, you get a ring that is tied around the perimeter with twelve single crochet. The resulting circle is pulled by a half-column. In the first two loops we make free columns, getting six free loops connected to each other. In the next two loops, another petal is formed. You see that voluminous flowers are very easy to make.

Simple flowers

To tie the flowers, we need:

  • Anabel yarn with a density of 120 meters in 50 grams,
  • knitting hook diameters 3 mm,
  • scissors,
  • needle.

In a flower, you can make five or six petals. A ring is made and five columns are knitted into it to obtain five petals. The ring is tightened. If you want to make the petals of the wrong color as the middle, it's time to change the thread to a different color. Of the four columns, the first petal is formed. All others are knitted in the same way. The threads of the flower are pulled up, after which they can be hidden or tied in a bundle. For this, it is convenient to use a needle.

Knitted bow

Used yarn "Lira" from the company "Vita", but you can use the rest of any other yarn. A filament ring is made and six air loops fit. After that, six columns with three crochets are knitted, in which the hook is inserted into the ringlet. Then five stitches of air type with a connecting column are knitted. After that, the whole procedure is exactly repeated.

On our ring we got two petals, which will become frequent bow. The ring of threads is tightened, and the middle of the bow is wrapped with the same thread. The knot is tied on the wrong side. You can stick a bow to a product with a thread.

Openwork flowers

We will tell you how to crochet a flower from wool yarn with a density of 400 meters in 100 grams. The diameter of the hook is 1.25 mm. To begin with, a ring is formed around a finger wound around a finger. On this ring, petals are made up, consisting of each of five columns of an air type. Having received five petals, we tighten the loop.

Next, the resulting petals are tied around the edge. All necessary steps for this are described in detail. Around each petal is a neat border. The first one connects with the last. With a knitted blunt needle, we fill in the remnants of the thread, their tails are trimmed.

Little flowers

For knitting, mercerized cotton was used, 100 grams of which contains 565 meters, the diameter of the knitting hook was 1 mm. For knitting, a sliding loop is formed - the thread is once wound around the finger and knitted once. For the first petal, 12 air loops are knitted, which are closed in a circle. In the same way, the bases for all the petals are formed.

The sliding loop is tightened, and all the petals are tied with columns that form a neat edging. All necessary movements are commented in detail and demonstrated by the instructor.

Volumetric rose

Cotton threads and hook number 2.5 are used. Three rows of rims fit, of which a rose is twisted. We start with a set of 45 stitches in a chain, then the first row is knitted. A simple pattern is repeated several times to obtain the desired number of petals. Knitting in several rows allows you to get the base from which the flower is twisted.

Openwork braid allows you to get three tiers of petals. If you want to make a larger rose, you can use a thicker hook and add a few additional petals to the braid. You can decorate with a rose, for example, a knitted bag or clothes.

A flower of lush columns

The basis for the formation of the flower is a sliding loop obtained by winding the thread around the finger. Then the petals are formed, based on five elongated loops. Due to the fact that the thread is taken thick, the columns look lush and voluminous. At the edges of each petal are columns. Such petals fit six pieces.

It remains to tighten the loop by the thread to get a neat flower. The ends of the threads are tied in a knot and embedded inside or used to sew the resulting flower to any product. In the middle, you can fix the bead.

Flower for bonnet

Crocheting such crocheted flowers is very simple. We form a ring of thread and we knit one loop for lifting and then seven columns without the use of yarn. The ring is tightened, and a column is knitted that connects the beginning and end of the row.

The knitting sequence of the next row is shown in detail by the instructor. So the petals of the flower are formed. There are seven of these petals in total. After the end of the row, the thread is passed to the wrong side. It can be hidden in knitting or used to attach a flower to the item that you want.

Two-row rose

A volume flower can be knitted without a scheme and description, knitting only two rows with a crochet hook. 25 loops are scored, and you can start knitting the first row. The alternation of columns, yarn and stitches is described in detail and shown by the instructor.

The second row also represents a repetition of predetermined knitting techniques. It turns out a ribbon with a wavy edge, and when we reel it, a magnificent rose comes out. It remains only to sew the turns of the ribbon between themselves so that the rose does not fall apart. Now it can be used as decoration for clothes or for a knitted bag.
